Jeg får en del henvendelser fra folk, der finder det svært at forstå at vi ikke accepterer artikler, som de skriver om/for deres arbejdsgiver - typisk med vinklen "Er det ikke smart, at det er den der ved noget om virksomheden (læs: arbejder i virksomheden), der skriver artiklen?"

Svaret er nej - af en lang række grunde, men som jeg ser det, er denne grund central:

  • Wikipedia er et projekt, der aldrig bliver færdigt - og derfor er det også et projekt, der på ethvert tidspunkt skal forsøge at være så komplet som muligt. Derfor skal vi hele tiden bestræbe os på at have de "{{NUMBEROFARTICLES}}" (p.t. 193.964) vigtigste emner dækket. Dette gælder naturligvis for hele projektet og ikke for den enkelte bidragsyder, men det er vigtigt at vi i den sammenhæng deltager ærligt i projektet og ikke med en skjult dagsorden om at promovere vores arbejdsgiver, band eller fodboldklub - eller os selv, for den sags skyld. Selve tilstedeværelsen af en artikel er jo en indikator af at nogen har fundet emnet værd at skrive om, men læseren skal kunne stole på at denne nogen er en bruger som ham/hende selv, og ikke en, der prøver at sælge dem noget.

Bemærk at diskussionsindlæg indsættes nederst på siden. Placering i toppen betragtes som hærværk.
