For interwiki, a global bot flag is sufficient (see top of page). Global bots were adopted here to avoid requests like yours, better dealt with on Meta - I recommend consulting Meta:Bot_policy/Implementation#Where it is policy before requesting local bot flags elsewhere. I looked at the edits. Generally they look good, but I have a few comments:
  • Sometimes when it edits articles which have intermixed {{Link FA}} and {{Link GA}} templates before the categories, and moves the {{Link FA}} templates to after the categories, it will leave empty lines in the group of {{Link GA}} templates ([2], [3]).
  • It also seems to do a few cosmetic changes (removal of double new lines) ([4], [5]). Is that intentional?
But apart from these very small issues, I will say congratulations with your great work and welcome to Danish Wikipedia. I of course recommend a bot flag. Byrial 23. feb 2009, 01:01 (CET)

It's hard for a bot to determine whether it's supposed to leave an empty line or not, especially when the templates are somwhow 'mixed'. So, that part is (unfortunatly) unfixable (the bot does not analyse what's before / after the Link FA template). On the other hand, it's a minor cosmetic problem that'll solve itself over time, especially if I write that Link GA code. Or more precisely, the collection of Link GA templates and markups (see de:Benutzer:LinkFA-Bot/Vorlagen and de:Benutzer:LinkFA-Bot/Kategorien for the Link FL - base data). Basically, it's the same taks, and can easily be added once I gathered this information. If it's desired, I can do so.
As for the removal of double empty lines: Yes, that's intentional (and - aside from removing dead interwiki links) the only cosmetics the bot does, although it's rather a side effect of its work. Without that code, it would've left multiple empty lines inbetween the Link GA - lines.

That it did NOT move the Link GA templates is easily explained: It doesn't touch anything but the templates it's been told to handle. So, not a bug there, in my opinion. What kind of cosmetic changes does your bot perform besides the one in the test edits? The script makes the following changes:

  • fix self interwiki (also done by interwiki.py)
  • standardize interwiki (also done by interwiki.py)
  • standardize categories
  • cleanup links (for example: [[pagetitle|link]]name becomes [[pagetitle|linkname]] and [[pagetitle|pagetitle]] becomes [[pagetitle]])
  • cleanup section headers (for example: ==Title== becomes == Title ==)
  • translate and capitalize namespaces (for example: [[kategori:title]] becomes [[Kategori:Title]] and [[Category:title]] becomes [[Kategori:Title]])
  • remove deprecated templates (if there are any)
  • resolve html-entities (translate &code; to it's proper understandable form)
  • valid Xhtml (for example, change <br> tot <br />)
  • remove useless spaces
  • hyphenate ISBN numbers

  • Description: The bot replaces urls that have to be changed. This can be only a domain change or a more complex page structure change on a website. Links are dectected with the help of the api (and not with regex) and are only replaced if the webserver of the new url returns a 200-status-response for that new resource. Links in “normal article text” are not changed.
  • 2nd Function: Interwikis, but only supervised on single sites (done by py)
  • bot flag at: en, de, some others

I was request to ask for bot flag on my bot talk page after doing some replacements. At the moment there is only one more test edit i could do. Perhaps i'll find some older replacements of other domains so that i could do some more test edits.
