Beskrivelse
English: Russian Federation, State Decoration instituted on 9 May 1994. Awarded to veterans of the Red Army, Navy, NKVD troops, guerrillas and the underground for bravery, fortitude and courage displayed in fighting the German fascist invaders, the Japanese militarists, and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of GK Zhukov. Also awarded by the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, other ministries and departments, where Russian law provides for military service, for courage and bravery shown in combat in defence of the Fatherland and public interests of the Russian Federation.
