Denne skabelon bruges til at lave kildehenvisninger eller eksterne henvisninger til World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS). Den bruger {{cite web}} til at lave sit output og overfører automatisk udgiveren til den skabelon. Den indeholder også en tabel med databasenavne, så man ikke behøver at indtaste databasetitler og redaktør(er).

Brug

En typisk brug er:

For en post der er part af en af de navngivne databaser i WoRMS, tilføjes yderligere parameteren |db=:

{{cite WoRMS |author= |year= |title= |id= |access-date=5. september 2026 |db=}}

Når posten ikke er i en af de navngivne databaser, kan |db= udelades. Parameteren |title= bør indeholde Wiki-formatering for kursiv efter behov. Ved brug af skabelonenen til at lave indhold til afsnittet "Eksterne henvisninger" bør parametereen |access-date= ikke bruges. Hvis parameteren {{|para|author}} mangler eller er tom, indsættes "WoRMS" som standardværdi for forfatter.
