Et hydrotermisk væld er en sprække i en planets overflade fra hvilken geotermisk varmet vand kommer ud. Hydrotermiske væld findes almindeligvis nær vulkansk aktive zoner, områder hvor tektoniske plader bevæger sig fra hinanden, oceaniske bassiner, og hotspots.
