Čeština: Znak Nového Města nad Metují
V modrém poli znaku je otevřená brána s padající či stoupající mříží. Vedle brány stojí stříbrná věž s třemi okny s červenou bání a zlatou makovicí. Po obou stranách je stříbrná zeď z kvádrů s cimbuřím. Nad branou je znak Černčického rodu. Ten má v červeném poli dvě stříbrná lekna s kořeny. Nad štítem je otevřená přilba s červenobílými přikryvadly. Z klenotu vyrůstají dvě červená křídla, na nichž jsou opět obě lekna.
