"topspiller" før han kom på universitetet. Og fullback/ halfback/ "running back"[rediger kildetekst]

"Topspiller" is not a good explanation in my view.
Did he play on the varsity team (the school's "top team" in a sport)?
What grade was he in, when he started playing games for the varsity team? (That can say something about his acclaim as as a team member at high school.)
Did he have any titles or prizes that showed that he stood out in a positive way, from other players on the team?
There might be no statistics that show him as an out-of-the-ordinary member of the varsity team, or on the "sophomore team" (or "junior varsity team").
Here is my contribution [1]. (It shows that he played for at least one of the school teams, and it shows some of his "titles" (or rather selection to various honorable lists).).
En-wiki says that he was a fullback at college. (I don't think it is important to mention what "football position" he played at high school (which some local papers say was "halfback"). It is more important to mention what position he played in college football.)
(på dansk:) Han var på ett eller to af skolens hold/lag. Og han kom på listerne "all state", "all southern" og "all city".
Han var god nok spiller til at modtage et "fotball-stipendium".
Not only "top players" get "fotball-stipendium".
If one claims he was a "topspiller", then was that at his high school only, or in the league?
In my opinion, "topspiller" is a too genereal claim, and might not give much meaning unless one quotes an expert of high-school football. 178.232.166.28 7. sep 2018, 10:58 (CEST)
