Martin Tibbs better known as Uncle Mart is a musician who has only recently (2004) gone pro, he has however had a long history in music starting by using the Commodore Amiga using such tools as noisetracker and protracker. Since he went pro in 2004 he has released three albums of chill out music with moderatly sucsessful sales. Since finishing his contract for these albums he has however decided to go back to his roots and has started working for computer game companies writing game music and creating the sound effects.

Martin was born in England but however decided that Germany would be more of an appropriate place to live as a musician and is currently still living there. He is also known to be anti religious yet chooses not to speak out against those who choose religion stating that "Im ok with other peoples choices, however its not for me". He started in music on the Commodore Amiga using such programs as "noisetracker" and later to go on to use "protracker". He was once voted third best scene musician in the United Kingdom on the "Grapevine magazine", after leaving the amiga scene there was an absense from music for over tens years. Only recently did he decide to go back into the music world and continue writing music, in 2004 he was signed to a record label to produce three albums, the sales of these albums reached 90,000 units.

Martin Tibbs has publicly announced his love of many other musicians but noted that some of his favorites are Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto and Jack Johnson. He currently uses a multitude of software but prefers Fruity Loops Studio XXL.

Personal life

Martin has been a victim of publicity for many years now from being a moderator at the controversial website "theisonews" which discusses piracy and the groups that release pirated software, he is a strong supporter of online distribution but states that piracy should strictly be used as a "try before you buy" option. In 2003 his name and quotes ended up on several news websites when the American DOJ illegally took possesion of the isonews domain name.
