[redigér | rediger kildetekst]Maj D is a Danish artist, born 1980 in Århus. She works within painting, installation, decoration, wearable art and action based art. After finishing her studies in Copenhagen, London and Barcelona, she returned to work mainly in Århus. She has resently done collaborations with the fur store Utzon] in Århus, Jacob's Bar BQ] in Århus and Boutique Marie, Århus. She has exhibited at eg. Gallery Jarsbo, Århus, Gallery Esplanaden, Copenhagen, Gallery Nittenunder, Frederiksberg, and Candid Arts Trust, London.
Maj D holds a MA Degree in Education from University of Copenhagen, where she specialized in art as a means for learning processes. She has also attended the Master of Fine Arts, Middlesex university, London, Esquela di Arte Conteporàneo, Barcelone and Bjørn Ignatius Øckenholdst Billedkunstskole, Frederiksberg.
