The Schock/Skok family

The Schock/Skok family is originally from Albania and Slovenia, but now it's both mixed with Swedes and Germans. It all started in 1742 when Mihail Schok married Armira Redzepi. She were an Albanian from Prizren, Kosovë. Her dad were from Pristina, but he met her mom in Prizren and they got married and got Armira. I don't know Mihail's story the only thing i know is his parents names Andrej Schock and Ula Šter and that his parents weren't married when they got him.

My grandpa told me that in Denmark That in something called Vodinborg. A priest made ​​a mistake, when there was a child who had to be baptized. So Schock was made into Skok. But fortunately it is still a Slovenian name. Maybe there are somebody out there maybe from Scandinavia or America or something who knows more about the Schock/Skok family. The only thing i know is that some is still 50% Albanian and 50% Slovenian. Because i am :D And it could be cool if there still were some Skok/Schock's who still were 50% Albanian and 50% Slovenian like me :) Cuz i know that there is many of us. My grandpa told me about when he was in Sweden in 2003. He was going to meet 4 Swedes, 9 Albanians and 3 Slovenes and he told that they talked hours about the family and my grandpa told about when our family were in war in Kosova and the war when Slovenia didn't want to be a part of Yugoslavija. They told about the war between the Danish people and the Germans. When my grandpa told me about it it sounded terrible i felt so sorry for the Danish people. Maybe some of my people lived there at that time i feel so bad when people from my family gets hurt og sick or something really bad happens. Like dead. When the Yugoslavija war ended 267 Skok's died. And when the Kosova war ended almost 500 people died. Thats almost everything i know. I hope some Skoks or Schocks(it doesnt matter we are all from the same family) read this!!:)

Hello! My names is Bojana. Right now im living in Slovenia thank you for posting this i didnt knew half of it i think. But i know that there is many of us in denmark and sweden. I hope you will out more about our family. Its always good to know our history :) many greetings from Ljubljana, Slovenia.
