Ben E. King (født Benjamin Earl Nelson 28. september 1938 i Henderson, North Carolina, død 30. april 2015) var en amerikansk sanger.[1]

King var forsanger i gruppen The Drifters i årene 1959-1960 efter at grundlæggeren Clyde McPhatter havde forladt gruppen. Med Ben E. King fik gruppen flere hits, blandt andet den klassiske "Save the Last Dance for Me". I foråret 1960 forlod han gruppen for en solokarriere som soulsanger. Hans to første store hits som soloartist kom 1961, "Spanish Harlem" og derefter "Stand by Me".

I sine sidste år drev Ben E. King organisationen The Ben E. King Stand by Me Foundation, hvis formål blandt andet er at hjælpe børn og unge med sociale og økonomiske problemer.
