Brug[rediger kildetekst]

Skabelonen bruges til at vise vejrdata for en bestemt lokalitet måned for måned i en tabel. Data for hele året kan skabelonen selv beregne som en sum eller et gennemsnit. Det kan både være temperatur, nedbør og andre data. Der findes både danske og engelske parameternavne, for at gøre det nemt at kopiere den tilsvarende skabelon en:Template:Weather box ved oversættelser fra engelsksproget Wikipedia. Som standard vises temperatur og nedbør ved brug af metersystemet, det vil sige i celsius og millimeter, men ved brug af specielle parametre kan andre enheder (fahrenheit og inches) vises.


  • Ønskes ikke celcius og mm vist som den første enhed, når vejrdata vises i tabellen, så anvendes parameteren |metric first=nej
  • Ønskes begge enhedssystemer vist i tabellen sættes |begge_enheder=ja
  • Ønskes både celcius og fahrenheit vist i samme række (den ene i parentes) anvendes |single line=ja
  • Alle parametre er valgfri, undtagen |sted= (på engelsk: |location=).
  • Totaler for året vil blive beregnet forudsat at værdier for alle måneder angives.
  • Brug den samme præcision for alle værdier i en række. Hvis fx januar er 0 og februar er 0,03, så brug 0,00 for januar.
Bemærk: En værdi kan angives som "trace" (meget lille mængde) i stedet for et konkret tal i millimeter eller inches.
  • Man kan få vist nedbørsdata med fx grøn baggrundsfarve ved at angive |precipitation colour=green og |rain colour=green.
